2008 Student Satisfaction Survey Results

"I started dancing at the Muddy Cup in Poughkeespie and realized early on that I
needed to learn how to dance. I heard rave reviews from so many that I knew
Linda and Chester where the right fit for me!"

"Everyone suggested "Chester and Linda!" and I wanted to get better, little did I
know how much people really need classes to dance properly!"

97% report they enjoy the classes and intend to return.
"We keep coming back because we enjoy the classes, we enjoy the dances, we
enjoy dancing in our living room, we enjoy the chance to learn something new as
part of our lives, we enjoy meeting people and getting out of the house together for
something so great as swing dancing, we enjoy impressing our son, we enjoy
impressing our parents..."

Think you can't dance? 90% of our students feel they've
become better dancers as a result of taking our classes.
"I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed these past few months since we started
Swing Dancing. In June 2008 I went to a Port Ewen dance knowing nothing at all
and now I can do some pretty cool moves, with some confidence."

75% have also attended our Saturday Night Swing Dances.
"We really enjoy the Saturday Night Swing Dances especially now that we know
more dance steps. They really are just like a party. No pressure. It is not easy to
ask someone else (besides your husband) to dance, but I did. And it was nice. I like
how people hug each other at the door and really enjoyed celebrating Chester's
birthday and Linda's birthday. It made us feel like we have found new friends in our
lives in Chester and Linda as well as the other people we met at the classes and
dances. Friends are friends even if its just for a one hour class or a Saturday Night
dance. And then we get to see Chester's Cool Cats and Kittens. What great
dancing and such great choreography. How happy everyone seems after putting so
much obvious hard work and effort. Not only do we get to dance, but we also get a
great show to boot! How cool is that?"

100% of those who have attended our dances agree that
they are fun and friendly.
"The atmosphere at the swing dances is very friendly and lots of fun. The tone is set
from the top down and the way that Chester and Linda react with each other and
everyone else sets it all up for a great evening of fun and enjoyment."

And finally, 95% feel that we are achieving our mission of
spreading the joy of swing dance and creating a desire in
people to dance and to dance well.

85% believe we are excellent teachers.
"The classes are taught by breaking down those moves into small sections that are
reviewed often so by the end of the class - voila! you are dancing a complicated
move! And Chester and Linda laugh at themselves, and each other (in a nice way)  
that helps us laugh at ourselves as we go through the learning process."

And one more student comment we can't resist including...
"I really enjoyed the classes I have taken. I believe that if you do something you
should do it well, and the difference between dancers that receive competent
instruction and those that don't is like night and day. I really appreciate the attention
to doing it right instead of just doing it, and it has become very easy for me to pick
the Linda and Chester instruction from the rest of the pack. I am looking forward to
the next season to improve on what I already have and to learn the dances that I do
not know. For me you are the tops, and maybe someday I will look as good as you
