Classes are progressive within the series. No Drop ins. New students welcome at the start
of each series. You may join up to the second class. Our focus is on the art of social dancing.
You do not need a partner to attend.

LEARN BASIC SWING FOUNDATIONS of this fun social dance (also called
Lindy or Jitterbug) . Master turns, dips and more!
We teach social dance skills so you can
dance anywhere, anytime, with anyone so no partner is necessary to participate! You will
receive a complimentary music CD for practicing.

We offer three Swing Foundations series. Each 4-week series offers different foundational
moves to build your repertoire and hone your technique. New students are welcome at the
start of each series. We allow students to join up to the second night of a series. You do not
have to do all three series in succession, each series is self-contained.
SA= single step footwork, arch turn, and other new moves.
TS= triple step footwork, send out, and other new moves.
TT= triple step footwork, tuck turn, and other new moves.

MOVING UP...INTERMEDIATE SWING & LINDY HOP
Confident with the basics? Once you've completed all three of our core curriculum
foundation series (TT, TS, SA) and/or foundational moves are second nature, you're ready
to build your dance vocabulary! At this level we cover more advanced six and 8-count moves
and combinations. We teach new moves every series to keep building your skills.

INTERMEDIATE SWING WINTER SCHEDULE

You may pay (cash or check) on the first night of class but please
REGISTER so we can plan classes accordingly.

Policies
Cancellations: In the event of bad weather, call 845-236-3939 and/or check our website to
see if class has been cancelled.  We will decide by 4pm. We will make up the missed class.
We also reserve the right to cancel any class that does not have sufficient enrollment.
Payment is due in full at the start of each session. Cash or checks. The fee is the series
price. There is no drop in rate.
Student absence: We always review the course material each class. No financial
adjustments will be made for student absence.
