Intermediate (Level 2) is Perfect for:
- Those who have completed all three Level 1 four-week class series, confidently execute the moves, and discussed moving up with instructor.
- Those who have been dancing a while and/or taken private lessons (instructor permission required)
Advanced (Level 3) is perfect for:
- Those who have been social dancing and taking workshops and intermediate level classes for at least a year, are comfortable learning in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and are eager to incorporate more complex moves, combinations, and refinements.
How it works
Intermediate and Advanced series move at a quicker pace and introduce you to an exciting variety of cool combinations. Many students have been enjoying classes at these levels indefinitely and take advantage of the discount available for taking both the intermediate and advanced classes on the same night so they can continue building their skills at the intermediate level while challenging themselves in the advanced classes when they are ready for it.
LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE
Eager to keep building your knowledge of moves and skills? Comfortable with your basics and building combinations of cool moves? Intermediate swing class series are themed and may include: Basic Charleston, Swig Outs, Tuck Turns, Hammerlocks, jazz steps, combining six- and eight-count moves, swing outs and more...
LEVEL 3: ADVANCED SWING DANCE & SPECIALTY CLASSES
Very comfortable mixing six and eight-count moves, know Charleston and jazz steps, and enjoy leading and following combinations of cool moves? It's time to shine! Take on more complex moves and variations and work on improving the quality of your movement, musicality, connection and creativity. Advanced swing classes are themed and may include: Tandem & advanced 20's and 30's Charleston, Balboa, Swing Out Variations, Dips & Tricks, Performances, and more...
