THE BIG MONTHLY SWING DANCE
A Warm & Welcoming Environment for all.
Our big monthly swing dance draws people together from all over the Hudson Valley and beyond. Everyone is welcome and a beginner lesson is always included. Summer dances are held in the beautiful Mountain View Studio in Woodstock NY. With a double-sprung wood floor, ample parking & air conditioning, it's a dancer's delight! In winter, we migrate to the Reformed Church in Hurley. This spacious venue has a wood floor and plenty of room for a band, parking and performances.
SWING-N-BLUES NIGHT AT THE ART BAR
3rd Saturday Monthly @ The Art Bar - Kingston, NY
An intimate social gathering of our dance friends & family.
Think “house party” with dancing. Our monthly gatherings at the Art Bar in Kingston are a perfect opportunity to socialize and dance. There’s a wine/beer/soda/tapas bar around which people gather to talk and socialize and a dance floor in the gallery that is one of our favorites of all time. This is a night out for all the Got2Lindy community—no lesson!

What our students say...
"The monthly dances at The Newburgh Brewing Company are amazing! The orchestra is fantastic and old-school and gets the joint jumpin'.
I'm middle-aged and am always pleasantly surprised by the large number of young people who attend, and they're great dancers. There is a good mix of all ages, but predominantly kids in their 20s.
It's good, clean, wholesome fun. I'm always asked to dance (by men in my age range), so I have no problem attending alone.
The venue is perfect with a huge dance floor and lots of room to accommodate large crowds without feeling smothered. And, the dances are completely FREE. Definitely the best entertainment bargain around. As with the Newburgh dance classes, the monthly Brewery dances are worth the trip for me."
Judy - Croton-on-Hudson, NY
"I attended my first dance after only three lessons and had a blast. Everyone asked me to dance and helped me with the moves since I was so new to swing dance.
The dances at the Art Bar in Kingston are my favorite because of the atmosphere. The people are so friendly and welcoming. Swing dance is so much fun, I cannot wait for the next dance.
And your Monday night classes are the highlight of my week! I actually look forward to Mondays now! I'm so glad that I found your dance lessons on Meet Up. Even my 10-year-old granddaughter wants to take lessons now."
Donna - Kingston, NY
"Such an enriching experience to meet so many interesting people and dance with so many enthusiastic and gifted dancers at Linda and Chester's dances. Made me feel so popular!"
