Everyone’s favorite!
EIGHT TO THE BAR draws its musical influences from American roots music – swing, boogie woogie, rhythm & blues, soul, Motown & jazz. Eight to the Bar is known for its outstanding instrumentalists and sophisticated musical and vocal arrangements, highlighted by female vocals.
EIGHT TO THE BAR is famous having won Best Band in New England and Connecticut several times. They even have their own Wikipedia page!
All are welcome! No partner or experience needed to attend. Join the fun!
Beginner lesson 7:30-8pm
Dancing till 10:30pm
$25 admission at the door (Cash, Check or Venmo. NO CREDIT CARDS.)
Note: Before every big monthly dance is a Technique Clinic from 6-7:30pm. This is not the beginner lesson included in the dance but a separate hour-and-a-half workshop on changing topics.
THIS MONTH’S TECHNIQUE CLINIC BEFORE THE DANCE IS….CHARLESTON FOR SWING DANCERS!
TAKE THE NIGHT FOR A DISCOUNT! Add the dance to your Technique Clinic (6-7:30pm) registration and get the clinic at a discounted rate! Valid for those who register for both the technique clinic and the dance on the clinic registration form.
