DANNY LIPSITZ AND THE BRASS TACKS!

And our favorite guest vocalist: Seydurah Avecmoi!

A protegé of the great Sweet Georgia Brown, Seydurah is a fiery, dynamic blues vocalist who sings jazz, blues and soul. She has headlined packed shows at B.B.King’s Blues club in Times Square, completed two successful tours in China at the House of Blues & Jazz and Friends and the JZ club, earning rave reviews. She also headlined with a full orchestra at the Manhattan Cocktail Classic VIP Gala at the historic New York Public Library.

Yes, this is the band we had at this time last year, and at the Spiegeltent!! Yes, they are terrific and hugely entertaining. No one but Danny can do what he does in the way he does it. Don’t miss this amazing musician and showman!

Big Monthly Swing Dance this month features: Annie & the Fur Trappers!!

A big hit last year, Annie and the Fur Trappers are a Boston-based traditional jazz and blues band, dedicated to performing and preserving the music of the 1920s and 30s.  This legendary band, made up of clarinet, trumpet, trombone, bass, banjo, guitar, and washboard, has headlined at music festivals including the Big Muddy Blues Festival, The Whitaker Jazz Festival, Cherokee Street Jazz Fest, HONK!TX, Musikfest, The Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl, and The Rosebud Cafe Music Festival… we heartily welcome them back to Kingston!
