Formerly from Philly, and now based in Massachusettes, The Blue Plate Specials mixes classic jump blues and vintage Chicago blues sounds, delivering a horn-infused attack that’s made for dancing!

Big Monthly Swing Dance this month features: Annie & the Fur Trappers!!

Annie and the Fur Trappers are a Boston-based traditional jazz and blues band, dedicated to performing and preserving the music of the 1920s and 30s.  This legendary band, made up of clarinet, trumpet, trombone, bass, banjo, guitar, and washboard, has headlined at music festivals including the Big Muddy Blues Festival, The Whitaker Jazz Festival, Cherokee Street Jazz Fest, HONK!TX, Musikfest, The Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl, and The Rosebud Cafe Music Festival… we heartily welcome them to Kingston! Don’t miss this month’s special pre-dance technique clinic to prime you for an extraordinary evening!
